Capt. Carl Scott of the USMC served during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He took part in the recapture of Cape Glouster, New Britain, Peleliu Island, and the landing at Okinawa before being wounded in action. He tells his amazing story of life as a soldier, one of the millions who served in the war and one of the few to come back home.

Arnold Howard is a lifelong career military soldier who served in multiple branches of the armed services. From serving in the Navy on the USS Franklin D Roosevelt in the late '60s to his enlistment into the Army National Guard, and his time in Operation Desert Storm as an LPN treating the wounded in Ft. Hood, Texas with the Army Reserves as a Sergent.
Arnold's lifelong act of sacrifice to serve our country must be noted in history as nothing short of remarkable and his story to be shared with everyone as an example of what a soldier is. This episode is a short part of his beginnings as a young man who joined the U.S. Navy.
