The Sojourn of Carolyn Townsend follows the last days of Carolyn's life when she is seriously injured in a car crash while protecting her daughter Emma. Comatose from her injuries, Carolyn receives help from her deceased husband Jack, who comes back to help her make the transition to the afterlife and say goodbye to their daughter.
